Two essential PhotoShop tricks

I do a lot of interface design and I always find myself having many text layers. Changing the font, color and size on each layer can be a pain.

But there’s a way to change any text property across multiple text layers at once.

All you have to do is link your text layers together and hold down shift while making the changes. How did I ever live with out this!

The second trick is deleting multiple layers at once. The old (dumb) way of doing it was to drag each layer to the trash icon. If you have more than two layers it can take a while. To delete a group of layers, link the layers you’d like to delete and while holding Apple+Option on the Mac, Control+Alt on the PC, click on the trash icon at the bottom of the layers palette.

I found both of these tips at CreativeBits.
